NORMA Group — one platform across a worldwide plant network

NORMA Group, a global leader in engineered joining technology, is standardising on Meta Smart Factory across its international manufacturing network, with a rollout scoped to 17 plants. Projects are already underway at sites in the United States, the United Kingdom, Serbia, France and Germany.

What makes this programme significant is the decision behind it. Rather than letting each plant choose its own local system and reconciling the numbers in spreadsheets afterwards, NORMA Group selected one platform for the whole group. Every site — whatever its country, language or machine park — reports into the same system, against the same definitions.

The result is a genuinely managed manufacturing network rather than a collection of separately digitalised factories: group management sees production, OEE, quality and delivery performance from every plant in one place and in real time. A plant manager in Serbia and a director in Germany open the same figure, calculated the same way, updated the same minute — and MSF speaks each site's own language while doing it.
